One the main purposes of A&D is to look a little closer and dig a little deeper. A while back I highlighted how From Paris With Love and Impossible Dream seemed bookends to one another in 2015. During a recent binge, I happened to noticed key connections between even finer elements of these two films---how the return of old flames played out.

Never cease to be amazed at the incredible amount of continuity surrounding the style and manner of storytelling in this series!

- Both Shane and Oliver ended up ambushed to some degree.
- Both make pretty swift exits with the most grace they can.
- Oliver gets asked to drinks by both women, which I hadn't noticed before.
- Oliver arrives to drinks right on time. He may have had to wait for Holly, but he arrived before Steve could get any cozier with Shane.
- Norman ends up a witness to both events.
- James Jandrisch and Jeff Tymoschuk write incredible scores for Signed, Sealed, Delivered. The underlying track in both scenes is entitled, "The Awkward Reunion."
