As is tradition, they definitely showed up in style as evidence by this Instagram post:
I won't lie---I, too, was disappointed that no indications were given of an intent to continue the series beyond SSD10. Recognize, however, that SSD10 hasn't even been filmed yet, and, once it has, it likely won't air until late Spring/Early Summer. TCAs are only meant to cover the next six months or so of programming. So, as strange as it may sound, SSD10 is right on the bubble. We could get to Summer TCAs before it airs, or we might not. If we don't get another TCA before it airs, and everyone seems to move on to other projects, we might need to brace ourselves for an end. If TCAs come, and no announcement is made, it becomes even more likely we're looking at the end. If anything I just said upset you, then it might be a sign you should write (another) #Deliver2018 letter or email to Bill Abbott and Michelle Vicary. I don't expect us to be simply left hanging. When the series concludes, we will know.
On the bright side, we just got a few more months to continue calling for more Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies. So before anyone starts to panic, we should see this as an opportunity, not a death sentence.
When it comes to this show, I also like to see things from a faith perspective. It would be like the enemy to try and rob us of any joy we might receive from all the things there are to look forward to with Signed, Sealed, Delivered by distracting us with worry, fear and premature mourning. So keep positive, keep lobbying, and look forward to the months ahead.
While you're adjusting your focus, let's not forget that The Road Less Traveled is less than a month away and we've already got a teaser and a photo gallery! Don't forget about the 1 Per Night Countdown, which starts January 21 with the Pilot. Get more details here. You can also check out their previous TCA appearances.
On The Bright Side,
