Songs you heard during the latest SSD installment.

Always a key character, the music of Signed, Sealed, Delivered brings its own stories to bare, and Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Lost Without You continued that tradition with some church hymns and the return of a classic series favorite.

"Signed, Sealed, Delivered" - Stevie Wonder

Because this is the standard theme song for those viewing in the U.S. Some things never change!

"Live A Little (Feat. Dionyza Sutt)"- Kyle Tredway

This breakout hit from One In A Million could be heard playing in the background of the Mailbox Grille as the POstables and Papa O'Toole enjoyed lunch after shooting the USPS commercial.

My Father's Love Will Lead Me Home

This was the song heard during Eleanor's memorial service, sung by the church choir, which included Oliver and Dale.

Alleluia

With things seemingly at their darkest, this hymn carried the POstables through their time of need and personal reflection.

The Sunrise

If you frequent A&D you know this piece of score was a very special early delivery to POstables courtesy of master composer James Jandrisch. You heard during Lost Without You during that pivotal scene during which the O'Toole men were found.

"And So It Goes" - Billy Joel

I always wondered if we would hear this song again, but if you had told me we'd be hearing it play anywhere but the dance floor, I would have found it a stretch. Learned my lesson: Assume Nothing.

Instead, it gracefully complimented that beautiful moment between Shane and Oliver in the hospital chapel. And if you thought it was just a song playing in the background, then A&D has got a few revelations you ought to stay tuned for in the coming weeks! I'm warning you now--prepared to have your mind blow.

I think every POstable caught their breath as soon as And So it Goes started. It was perfect. And the way the lyrics are so perfectly timed to the words Oliver is speaking is even more perfect. It seems like it would so hard to manage because the timing of the music doesn't change. Loved it so much. And I have my Signed Sealed Delivered playlist set to play on repeat. It starts with And So it Goes and ends with It's All Good. I love that it restarts and I hear And So it Goes again. It makes the circle complete.

Yep... That was one of my favorite (if not my most favorite) moments in the show. I knew exactly what it meant when it started playing (remembering the dance lessons and the abrupt end to it by Oliver). I have always thought of it as "their song/theme" (especially from Oliver's point of view). A beautiful, touching and insightful song that fits their relationship, perfectly, in many ways.

My thoughts exactly, Berly!! I bawled like a baby when the vulnerability of "And So it Goes" was perfectly speaking along with the tender way that Shane and Oliver were acknowledging their feelings for each other. That scene was a masterpiece!

I loved the music in this one! I caught onto the And so it goes song right away! That was perfect because Oliver and Shane have come full circle! He couldn't dance to the song because his fears prevented it back then and now the same song plays as he lets go of his fears!

The musical choices are always wonderful but in this movie they were extraordinary. Can anyone tell me whose "Alleluia" we heard? It was breathtaking.

It is composed by Randall Thompson. You can find several options on You Tube, but I prefer the full choir singing, as in the movie.

Yes! The Randall Thompson, "Alleluia." It was a very emotional surprise for me, as I hadn't heard that favorite choral piece since I had sung it many years ago. It was a sophisticated and reverent accompaniment to Shane's prayer to God. It made the moment very believable, not cheesy or overdone. Just right.

I was taken with version, and can’t find it on youtube. Shame if they failed to mention this in end credits.

I am so grateful to you for posting this. Like Cathy, I sang these decades ago with my high school A Capella Choir and have always loved it, but have only heard it once since. And thank you, Deb, for letting us know who performed the version in the movie.

This movie was so beautifully put together. The music was placed so perfectly throughout the film. Had to re-watch it to catch all of the details especially during the final scene.

Anyone besides me interested in a Signed, Sealed, Delivered soundtrack? Would have to include "Something Good" and "There's Still My Joy" of course.

There isn't any dancing in LWY, but there is at the end of One In A Million. The name of the song they are dancing to at the end of that film is called "It's All Good." What about the song before It's All Good when Oliver and Shane were talking about second chances? It was a soft ballad that had the words 'all at once' and if I'm not mistaken something like 'I love God and I love you'.

Love love love this post! The music was absolutely another character in Lost Without You! And what a sweet surprise to see that you used my Tweet to Martha about the music in the chapel scene. As soon as I heard the downbeat of that oh so familiar ballad, I was mush. Perfect choice, as always, Martha!

It is like "And so it Goes" was written for Oliver and Shane... when it talks about the rose and the thorn's... and you think about Oliver saving a cutting from Shane's family rose bush... and all of Oliver hurts... no one could have written a better song for them then this

I absolutely love The Lost Letters TV movie, and the Billy Joel
And So It Goes. just made a perfect movie even more perfect.
I went out and bought the CD. and play only that song over and over.
