The team is about to head back to Vancouver to get the first installment of the new year on the books!

You already know the Postables will be gracing our television screens four times in 2016, you also know that there's a good chance their first film is a Valentine's Day classic.

But here's a few things you might not know about the upcoming film:

1. We're calling it 301---at least for now.

2. The gang gets back together on Nov. 30th.

All I can say is let's not panic---it's probably a joke. Trust me, I was pretty sure for a second I was having a heart attack for a second, but they are master teasers, so it could be nothing!

Anway---It's an exciting time, Postables! Any ideas what the content of the next film might be based on the little bit we know so far? Let me know in the comments!

I say it is now time to introduce us to Rita's family. We have never met any of them yet. And we really know very little.

Also, I think Shane's mother needs to appear some time. We've heard about her but never have we seen any of Shane's relatives.

As the characters progress we hope to see more of their lives.

Hi, everybody! Just thought I'd answer a few of your questions! Geoff is DEFINITELY in this show! He's on set this very moment with Crystal doing a very funny Norman/Rita moment in the DLO. Also, I read a very good question about how is was winter on Friday and Spring on Monday! Well, that's what happens to Canada when you have two months between shows. The good thing is, there is always just a bit of a fable-like quality to SSD that always adds a touch of supernatural blessing to moments like that, so I decided we could live with that! Also, it's my fault that I tweeted this current show as #301. We are STILL trying to figure out what to call these movies/episodes. For now, this is MOVIE 4, because, I suppose, we are counting From Paris With Love, Truth Be Told, and The Impossible Dream as the first three - making this the fourth movie. Then again, how do we count the pilot? And the Christmas Movie? Fortunately, these are not the questions that keep me awake at night. What wakes me up is the future of our Postables and the state of their hearts. Whatever we are calling this next movie, I'm calling it absolutely all about love. And remember, as this terrific A&D blog always recognizes, we are investigating the very nature of love in this series not as a fleeting feeling but as a conscious choice. I have to say I love that LOVE is being explored as a conscious choice in the series. I recently attended the TEDxSFU here in Vancouver and had a chance to hear a woman named Mandy Len Catron speak about the language we use when we talk about love. Often times we use words like 'falling' and 'smitten' when we speak of love...words whose roots speak towards accidents and lack of choice (I mean really...the root word for smitten is smite). We so often tell these elaborate love stories full of passion, heartbreak, and little choice. This is the story that generation over generation of TV and movie watching young adults draw their ideas of love from. Imagine my surprise when my first long term relationship wasn't full of dramatic declarations and over the top passion. What I've learned from an almost 20 year marriage was that making the decision to love the man I married, and then to continue to work at developing and nurturing it through all of life's changes has been amongst the best choices I never fell into!

Can't wait to see the new masterpiece you're creating up there in Vancouver---lucky for us it's only a few short months away.

Heck, here in North Texas, we really can have spring on Friday and winter 3 days later. We recently experienced all 4 seasons in a single week. I would like to put in a request for segments of "out-takes" on future DVDs. I have some from other series that are absolutely hilarious. Your team seems to have such a good time together that I'm sure you could make an entire DVD of out-takes. Thanks for your consideration. And THANK YOU with all my heart for bringing us one of the best series available anywhere. I've watched it all several times now. I'm close to knowing all the dialog. Bless you and have a happy New Year.
