All tweets should include #POstables from now through Sunday night.
I've had a lot of people reach out to me asking about how to Trend. To Trend, you need to have high volume of a unique hashtag in a short period of time - #VowsWeHaveMade can do that, but ONLY if used during the hours immediately BEFORE and immediately AFTER the premiere. Please DO NOT USE this movie specific hashtag until Sunday evening from 9pm and following.
DO NOT use #TheVowsWeHaveMade because use of "The" will drop the hashtag into an entirely different category. It doesn't matter what you see the network using. If they're smart, the network will pick up on what we're doing - not the other way around.
***Please keep in mind that although this is a method to attempt to manipulate the Twitter algorithm to create a Trending moment, this is not the end all be all. It's also easy to see the term trending in one region and not another depending on your location settings. The sheer volume of social interaction overall regarding Signed, Sealed, Delivered is valuable in terms of social success.***
How do I know this is true? Because I've spent over a decade in the social media space and have seen a lot of success on Twitter specifically both personally and professionally. I literally make my living off of knowing this stuff and leveraging it for the organizations for which I have worked.
I'm a big proponent that all social activity is valuable, but here are actions ranked from most valuable to least valuable in terms of trending:
- Original Tweets using #POstables and #VowsWeHaveMade
- Quoted Retweets (RTs) using #POstables and #VowsWeHaveMade
- Retweets
- Replies
- Likes
Of course, the entire point of social media is to have fun. If it stops being fun, stop prioritizing it - it's that plain and simple. I highly encourage you to prioritize enjoying this true gem of a new installment over fretting about Trending and the like.
Don't forget, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made airs Sunday, October 17 at 9pm on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. But get your POstables fix starting with a marathon Saturday morning at 11am with the Pilot through One in a Million, and restarts Sunday morning with Lost Without You through the new movie.
Straightening Things Out,
