For me, it all really started with this social share:
That would certainly explain the prevalence of the RV, suggesting that perhaps the Jag was no longer suitable transportation---or they killed it like Martha wanted to do in Higher Ground. Perhaps there's some kind of traveling thing with which the POstables are trying to keep up?
A Transient Attraction
The Circus
"Section four, subsection fifty-six: Deliveries going to carnivals, circuses or transient attractions..."
So thinking about carnivals and circuses immediately had me thinking of this portion of the postal code Rita quoted in The Future Me. Not surprisingly, it was also the monocle and camera film in her hand in the above Instagram post that got me thinking about just how the aforementioned postal code might play into things.
What if the POstables found the film as a unique, unattached object floating in the DLO, and upon further investigation or reflection decided to locate the owner of the film by tracing their journey through the photographs or something similar?
They made stops by lakes, fruit stands....

So while clown shoes and a fake campfire are actually part of a standard kit the stills photographer, Brendan Meadows, carries with him, it doesn't necessarily tell us definitively one way or the other. It also isn't something I can explain away entirely, despite pointing to a circus or carnival vibe.
What I notice he doesn't mention appearing in his repertoire is a monocle and camera film. I am not sure I would have chosen those first had I been digging through a chest of photo booth props, hence my reasoning that it might actually be a real clue Crystal is holding. That said, there's another viable and similar alternative explanation for the possible summer travel. |
Twice this little Boler has appeared on set, and on separate days:

Like I said---lots of options, but all could lead the POstables to take their show on the road.
RV Life
A main attraction in and of itself will no doubt be how the POstables function in the RV as they make this trek, leading to both conflict and discovery as we discussed last week. Expect a heavy dose of comedy---and reality---while investigating this letter mystery!
What are your thoughts on the as yet untitled Signed, Sealed, Delivered Movie 9? Is there another transient attraction that could make the cut I might have missed? Let me know in the comments!
