Today a colleague said she didn't know what had changed, but that I looked better lately...beautiful. Part of the transformation is my love of bold lipstick hues in fall. But, truth be told, the smiles and hope I feel lately find their root in the crush I have on all things SSD. The themes and stories have brought me back from an emotional place I'd stayed to long and have made me think again of all that is possible. Thanks, Chandal, for your passion for Martha's stories and the skillful portrayals by Eric, Kristin, Crystal, and Geoff. I'm heartened to find new kindred spirits. Blessings to all!

Chandal- thank you for this special treat. I was so impressed with how you interviewed Martha. You gave her intelligent thoughtful questions and you gave her time and space to answer them thoughtfully and thoroughly. I am writing a book about the life of my mother, and information about the historical events that she witnessed. I especially love Martha’s encouraging words towards the end of the interview directed to fledgling writers like me.
