To me, the outside world was gloomy and downtrodden with violence and disaster, and that hate had overcome it. But when I pondered the message of SSD more, I realized that my focus and perspective had to change. Is there hate? Sadly, yes. But has it won? No way! In fact, if we take the time to really pay attention, we would recognize just how much more love is out there and how “SheerlyAwesome” it is that love conquers all!
As you may or may not know, out of this realization I started the Delivering Love Project (or the DLP as I call it). It highlights the actions I see or words I hear that express love without anyone actually saying “I love you”. It was a good way to challenge myself to be present and in the moment; as it turns out, it was no challenge at all. Next thing I knew, I was seeing everything my husband did as a show of love in some way, shape, or form. Never a moment or day goes by now that I take him for granted. By recognizing his expressions of love every day, I’m filled with hope and happiness, and with a desire to express that love in return – it creates a cycle that makes love go ‘round outside the walls of our home! |
Much Love,

The Living Letters series continues as long as there are stories (or even praise reports) to share, and I'm always looking for submissions. If you would like to contribute something about how Signed, Sealed, Delivered has impacted your life (or even your wardrobe) that you'd be willing to share here on A&D, feel free to email me. Keep the good going and submit yours today!
