My journey is not so different than anyone else. I'm a proud mother of two marvelous children who are also autistic. Sometimes, life can become very difficult and over time has caused me to gradually lose faith.
A few month ago, I burned out and stopped working. During that time, I discovered Signed, Sealed, Delivered. It's the best choice i never made because I found faith again.
For Christmas reminded me there is always hope, and that even as my faith dwindled, God never had---and never would---let go of me. I understood that God had a path for me and I just needed to believe.
Then, in Lost Without You, I was very surprised that I never thought we had to pray to become better people in our lives, or that praying could be connected to a better life and not for having a better life. Because we make choices in life, and better people make better choices. I started praying again and found serenity, better health and bravery to face my children's problems one by one with trust.
I also began to understand the power of forgiveness, towards both myself and others. And it has truly brought me freedom and lightened my burden. I have begun to feel so good and so much more free.
It's a wonderful new life opened to my family and me.
The Living Letters series continues as long as there are stories (or even praise reports) to share, and I'm always looking for submissions. If you would like to contribute something about how Signed, Sealed, Delivered has impacted your life (or even your wardrobe) that you'd be willing to share here on A&D, feel free to email me. Keep the good going and submit yours today!
