Here are a few videos with SSD gems hidden in them!
A "No" To A "Yes"
"No, whatever it is, no." The moment I heard it I immediately pictured Oliver vetoing Shane's idea to visit Washington Park as they delivered what would become the first of many letters together in the Pilot. And, of course, "life is short" is also one of the key themes of that film as well!
The Altar At The Manger
Suddenly Shane's lines--- or, rather, slight revision of the Christmas Story dialogue---in For Christmas makes sense. Not only was Shane's part that which Martha was responsible for year after year, but "and women...and children...and everybody!" was a play on her mother's addition of,"...and us girls, too." How is that fort art imitating life?
Lots Of Luck?
Now you know why anyone who even utters the work "luck" in Signed, Sealed, Delivered gets corrected almost immediately. And there is at least one character whose bad habit still needs corrected---do you know who it is?
A Mother's Wisdom
Just think---if one of us had seen this video ahead of Lost Without You, we would have already known that picture of "Eleanor" was actually a picture of Betty, Martha's mom. Of all the SSD connections I could make from her videos, I think this one put my jaw on the floor first. Trust the timing, right?
I won't lie---part of me kinda wishes she was still putting these out! Of course, when would she even have?!
Encouraged,
