We know Oliver has a love of the classics, but there have to be some more modern artists to which Oliver might enjoy listening to during a quiet evening at home. I suggest a few tracks, each with their own unique connection to Oliver.
"Oliver's Tune" - Peter Katz You know him from that epic track in Truth Be Told, but Peter Katz has another song that really reminds me of Oliver. It speaks of the contentment felt in the company of friends, and the peace of living life well. Skip ahead to 1:57 for the actual song, see the whole video to learn the story behind the song (highly recommended). See, there's more to it than the track simply bearing his name!
"Colors" - Amos Lee I was originally going to suggest the studio acoustic version of this song, but the studio version has hints of Billy Joel's piano, a little bit of guitar and a soulful edge. Of a bit more somber tone, it had a certain quality to it that puts it right up Oliver's musical alley.
"Just Haven't Met You Yet' - Michael Buble While I am pretty sure Oliver's met the girl of his dreams, Oliver likely hums this song as he makes himself a quiet dinner in the evening. Everything about Michael Buble screams classic, and I can imagine Oliver appreciating his soulful and upbeat sound.
"Flower" - Amos Lee A repeat artist to this list, this track veers away from the acoustic and squarely into more of a pop-gospel track, but it clearly stuck out to me as catching that attention of someone with an appreciation for the classic soul vibe.
Much #POstable Love,
