"Signed, Sealed, Delivered" -Stevie Wonder The theme song we can't help but hum on those days when we miss out beloved Postables once again makes it glorious appearance. And it will make four more in 2016!
"I'm Gonna Be Your Man" -Keb'Mo This song with mo-town swagger played both at the Mailbox Grille and at the National Miss Special Delivery post-pageant reception. It was perfect fit, as Norman was certainly gunning to hold this honor in Rita's eyes. And, dare we say it, he succeeded!
"Piano Man" -Billy Joel Miss Louisiana, Peggy Rose (Rhona Rees), was a one woman show for her National Miss Special Delivery pageant talent, playing a harmonica and drum version of this classic hit. Of course, we're big fans of Billy Joel here, so this little nod was welcome!
"The Impossible Dream (The Quest)" -Man of La Mancha Performed by Mindy Maloney (Christina Bianco) to clench the National Miss Special Delivery title, this song encompasses everything the Postables worked so hard to achieve through their efforts in D.C., and everything Randilynn was fighting so hard to get back to. I'm assuming they used the orchestral arrangement from this movie as her musical track.
"America The Beautiful" -David Phelps As a rescue team descended in the Afghanistan desert to bring Randilynn home, this song reminded us of what makes our country great, and how much we owe to to those who serve.
"America the Beautiful" -Keb'Mo To match our quirky family heading home, this rendition of America the Beautiful played as our Postables climbed into their cab headed to the airport after Oliver revealed his surprise to Shane.
