At first look it's clear there seems to be a lot happening, as everyone seems to be in contact with, or in the presence of, some piece of mail. Rita seems to have an invitation(one that reminds me a lot of one addressed to Norman's grandmother seen during filming), while Norman and Shane seem to have two pieces of the same letter in hand. Hard to miss the box front and center, which seems to have something lace coming out of it---apropos for a movie involving a wedding. Could it possibly be a dress? We'll just have to wait to see how everything is connected! For those looking for a little wardrobe breakdown---Shane and Oliver are classic and clearly "in concert," which definitely bodes well for for both their professional and personal relationship status in To The Altar. While on opposite sides, Norman and Rita are still technically front and center, which makes sense since it's about their wedding. Rita's still rocking her bold floral prints, and Norman is still donning that classic sweater. Collectively their color palettes are progressively connected, just as a family should be. In the meantime, the only other sneak peek we have to look forward to before the big day (that we know so far!) is the release of the first trailer. No doubt it's right around the corner. Stay tuned to A&D leading up to the premiere of Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Altar, which airs Sunday July 15 at 9pm on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! Looking Ahead, ~C |
We're a little over a month away from Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Altar, and with that comes the trickle of assets and sneak peeks that only make it harder to wait for the next installment. This weekend Hallmark released the key art for To The Altar:

Oliver's outfit & Shane's coordination was the first thing I noticed on seeing the banner. Lots of intrigue evident in this picture. Thanks for continuing to increase my enjoyment of this series!

wow - I love that the package in the foreground looks like a wedding dress inside.....I have been wondering what the lost letter/package was going to be. I can't wait - just like all of us. Thank you C - Happy Anniversary. Love this blog and all the POstables.

Just want to say congrats on 3 years of sharing your gift of writing and for the wonderful insight you bring to the #POstables family. We have all been blessed by this show and you helped to bring those hidden lessons to light. Thank you for following that "nudge" from God 3 years ago and stepping up to the challenge. It has been fun to be able to watch the growth since the very beginning!

I could be wrong about this, but I think that Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Alter could get a release date change to June 24th. From what I’ve heard, the Gold Crown Christmas marathon on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries ends on July 15th. Also, the Christmas Keepsake Week on the Hallmark Channel starts on July 13th, just two days before the premiere of Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Alter. Either way, it seems like the newest Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie could get overshadowed by Christmas movies. Since this is, so far, the only wedding themed movie on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, this date change to June 24th would correlate well with the “June Weddings” line-up on Hallmark Channel.

Sally, I'm afraid being "overshadowed" is the story of SSD. POstables complain about the lack of airtime, lack ot advertising support, placement - such as being against season premiere of WCTH, etc.SSD has never been grouped with heavily promoted seasonal movies. But it is never overshadowed in terms of quality. It is the best.

I agree with both of you, SSD has been overshadowed and not really advertised as much as other movies and even since the beginning when it was a weekly series! I wish they’d bring the weekly series back, even if some mysteries/cases ran more than one episode. It’s such a high quality show and deserves more recognition.

What stuck out to me is where each POstable is looking. Rita's attention is on the blue envelope ("something blue"). Norman seems to be staring at Rita, maybe concern over the big day and the road ahead in their marriage ("something new"). The lace or wedding dress could be the "something borrowed". The "something old" could be why Shane and Oliver are looking at us/forward. Something from their past that would contribute to their future.
