Woo Hoo For Yoo Hoo?
It's that classic drink he can't get enough of, but wasn't Oliver supposed to be trying that bee pollen, ginger and kombucha smoothie? Keep your eyes and ears out for discussions about blending, whether Oliver is presented with an opportunity to try the smoothie that he rejects or if his first encounter is of his own accord. Trust me, there's much more at stake than just a chilled, blended fruit drink. |
Keep Gardening
I find it interesting that there's a good chance we could see all three of our leading men engaged in some kind of gardening, definitely literally, but possibly figuratively as well. We've already talked a but about what gardening means for Shane and Oliver, but keep your eye out for what sowing and reaping might mean for Norman and Rita, and also Joe and his new vegetable garden. I don't know about you, but I have a feeling that the community garden will be a good place for Papa O'Toole to meet people, especially a nice lady with whom to share his time and harvest. I don't think Joe was meant to spend his days alone, and that the state of his heart was keeping him from finding a special someone. But maybe that's just me? |
"We Know Ramon..."
One relationship that I expect to look just a little bit different this time around is Norman and Ramon's. It became clear to me recently that Norman's aversion to Ramon stems much deeper than just his apparent interest in Rita. But something tells me after his recent quest to be bold he might find himself on par with the multilingual, well-traveled gentleman and may approach social interaction with Ramon differently. |
The Music Men
Since Higher Ground is going to have a heavy musical influence, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Gabe performing at the Mailbox Grille. I kind of have this fantasy where he's playing and all of a sudden Hattie walks in and it's just kind of magical. The preview makes it pretty clear he used to play at clubs, Hattie's was probably among them. And because it seems Joe will be completing "list of buckets" items, I wouldn't be surprised if it's open-mic night and Joe decides to get in on the action. |
All In,
