Always a bit of an enigma, today I try and nail down some possible tracks to which Norman might listen as he goes about stamp recovery duties on a typical afternoon!
"Ho Hey" - The Lumineers I've always imagined Norman's taste in music to be slightly eclectic, with a bend towards acoustic sounds. It's upbeat tune and mention of a "sweetheart" obviously had me thinking of Norman and Rita, making it a perfect candidate for this list!
"I Will Wait" - Mumford & Sons With a very down-to-earth folk sound that grounds their music, this track stuck out to me as I was putting Norman's playlist together.
"Renegades" - X Ambassadors I can't help but think of the Pony Express and the history of the Postal Service when I think of this track. With Norman's love for postal history, it had to be included in his list!
"Fireflies" - Owl City The outlier in the group, this track, in my opinion, truly captures the innocence and wonder with which Norman sees the world. As Oliver said in For Christmas, Norman's eyes are always open to something new and beautiful in the world.
