It has happened: A&D has made it to the two-year mark. Like most milestones in the life of the blog, it's kind of surreal. What a difference a year has made both online and off!
Who knew I would actually make that goal to of interviewing the entire cast, adding Crystal, Kristin & Eric to the mix (Geoff's interview was technically in year 1)? Or that I'd get the chance to finally meet some of my POstables family in real life? I certainly never expected to be visiting the set in Vancouver, among all the amazing people who make the show possible, while having the time of my life. I never could have seen Martha inviting me to California to screen Higher Ground coming (Still asking myself if that really actually happened...). I couldn't have predicted the way A&D has grown across social channels, to have tweets shared within seconds, videos viewed into the 10,000's, and approaching 700 Facebook Fans. Nor could I have imagined the ways in which my #SecretWeapon would continue to faithfully inspire new ways of seeing Signed, Sealed, Delivered, never failing to provide the words to make the ideas and concepts come to life from new perspectives for 458 posts(and counting).
There aren't enough words to express my gratitude, my pride in this project, or the immense privilege it has been to stand at the helm for the past two years. And there's no explanation for the anticipation I feel for what's ahead in year 3. But I do know one thing: all the big things happen in the Signed, Sealed, Delivered world at the 2-year mark---it feels like the possibilities for A&D (and for me?) are endless.
But while I eagerly await what's ahead, I'm dedicating this week to everyone who makes this show and this blog possible---all of you, Martha and God---in ways seen, unseen, and the ways we only experience as an end result. It's the only way I know how to say "Thank you" for an incredible year, and welcome you to what I know will be another year nothing short of unbelievable.
Much POstable Love Always,
~C
